2024 Meetings of Fairfield County Board of Park Commissioners

Notice (11/25/2024): There will be no December 2024 Board Meeting.  


Trail Maintenance at Smeck Park

Notice (July 2024):  Exercise caution when walking the Paw Paw and Walnut Creek trails. Trails may be closed periodically when heavy equipment is in use. For your safety and that of our staff, heed posted signs.


Rock Mill’s Forebay being Replaced

Notice (June-July 2024): The mill’s forebay is being replaced. Until construction is complete, it will not be possible to grind corn. The gristmill will be open during posted hours; only the milling demonstrations are canceled until further notice. Get full details about Rock Mill Days on the Calendar of Events.


Stebelton Park at Rock Mill Geostructural Repairs Completed

Notice (April 2023): The geostructural issues have been addressed. The project was a success!  We are excited to announce the park is open and the mill will be open for tours during Rock Mill Days 2023 (May through October)!


Hague Foundation Makes Possible Property Acquisition
