Log Cabin at Misty Valley

What is now called Misty Valley Park had been the Bill Pierson property.  There is not yet any history available about the log house but information will be added after more research.  Inside the house were many, many pieces art work, mostly paintings.

Also on this property are two covered bridges that had been moved from their original locations – Shade Covered Bridge and Hummel Covered Bridge.  Pierson and his family had made the Shade into a museum of sorts containing Ohio artists’ works, Native American artifacts that were found on the property, antique tools, old postcards.
