Pumpkins are ready to harvest. Come, pick your own or select from those that have already been picked. One pumpkin per person, please!
Come anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Even though we will be outside, wearing a mask is required when close to others who are also selecting pumpkins.
Every year, members of Fairfield County Antique Tractor Club plant pumpkins and other heirloom crops at Smeck Park. Normally, the harvested items are available during the annual Harvest Celebration. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic that event has been canceled this year, but we don’t want the pumpkins to go to waste!
Pumpkin Decorating Contest – October 13-26
Enter your painted, carved, or otherwise adorned pumpkin in this online contest. It does not have to be a pumpkin you received at the Pumpkin Patch event. The winner will receive bragging rights and an Adventure Pack that includes a backpack, notebook, ruler, magnifier, and a coupon for a free Cristy’s Pizza!

There will be one winner chosen from each of three age categories:
Up to Age 10
Ages 10-15
Ages 16 and Older
Entries must be received by 4:00 p.m. on October 26. Our staff and volunteers will vote for their favorite entries. The winners will be contacted after October 31.
