Early Spring is a great time to get outside and enjoy Ohio’s ephemerals. Join our Education Specialist, Miranda, for a relaxing and fun wildflower walk!
What to Expect
There will be a short introduction about Ohio’s ephemeral springtime wildflowers followed by a slow and steady two-mile hike with frequent stops. The trail can be considered ‘moderate’; we will be walking along some ridges and ravines plus a long staircase.
Where to Meet
Meet in the main parking lot.
What to Bring
We suggest you bring water, snacks, a notepad and pen or pencil, and a wildflower identification guidebook (we will have a few available). The trail may be muddy so select your footwear to match weather conditions.
Pets
We ask that you do not bring pets to this program.
