First, listen to a reading of the story “Under One Rock”. Then, we will set out on a hike to search for bugs in different habitats – forest, pond, field – to see what different types live in each. After collecting some bugs using nets or our hands, we will put them in containers and study them!
Join Education Specialist Miranda for this expedition! Fun for the whole family.
Where to Meet
Meet in the open picnic shelter toward the back of the park.
What to Bring
Bring water and snacks. Insect repellant and/or long clothing is recommended because of ticks.
Pets
We ask that you do not bring pets to this program.
