Toadschool – Wahkeena’s Forest School

We’ve removed the classroom walls and let Nature become our teacher. Join a Wahkeena Naturalist for a day of discovery around the preserve. Who knows what we will find! Focusing on outdoor, investigative learning, the class will be out exploring rain or shine.
Parents may choose to drop off children or remain with the group. Reservations are required. Students may attend one or more dates. Call (800) 297-1883 or email nsteele@fairfieldcountyparks.org to participate in one of the following dates:
For students ages 4-7. Class is from 10:00-11:00 a.m. (UPDATED 8/26/2022 at 1:15 p.m.)
Friday, August 26Thursday, September 1- Thursday, September 8 – only 5 openings remain
For students ages 8-12. Class is from 1:00-2:30 p.m. (UPDATED 8/17 at 9:15 a.m. to add 
All Afternoon Classes are Full.)

What to Bring
When attending an outdoor event such as Toadschool, we suggest you bring drinking water.
Pets
Just a reminder that pets are never allowed in any nature preserve.
