Ever wished you had a candle to light when the power went out? Come, learn about candlemaking as you create one of your own to take home with you.
All the needed supplies will be set up on tables in the open picnic shelter toward the back of the park. Keep in mind that we will be working with hot wax. Wear old clothing you don’t mind getting messy! Come anytime between 12:00 and 4:00. It may take 30 minutes to complete your project.

REMINDERS
Drinking Water
Brink your own drinking water. Potable water is not available at this location.
No Pets
Because we will be working with hot wax, please do not bring pets to this program. However, pets are always welcome at Smeck Park. They must be under control at all times and on a leash no longer than 6’. For the health and safety of all, pick up and properly dispose of pets’ waste.
Hours
Smeck Park is open year-round during daylight hours. There is a picnic shelter, playground, a two-mile loop walking trail, more!
