Fall Flowers Hike
Mambourg Park
5531 Cincinnati-Zanesville Rd NE (US-22)
Lancaster, OH 43130
Did you know many flowers are still blooming in autumn? Join our Education Specialist for a hike to find some fantastic fall flowers and see the changing of the leaves! We will discuss things like why trees lose their leaves and where bees go when it gets cold!
What to Expect
We will walk both trails at the park. Hickory Trail is approximately 1.5 miles long. Oak Trail is approximately 1 mile long and has a set of stairs. Both are considered easy to moderate; the terrain is uneven. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The trail could be muddy, so select your clothing and footwear to match weather conditions.
Where to Meet
Meet in the front parking lot near the kiosk.
What to Bring
We suggest you bring drinking water. There is no potable water at this location. You may also want to have snacks, sunscreen, and/or insect repellent.
