Pellets & Plumicorns!

Mambourg Park
5531 Cincinnati-Zanesville Rd NE (US-22)
Lancaster, OH 43130

Owls cannot digest the bones and fur of the creatures they eat, so they throw up the remains in what are called owl pellets. We will dissect some pellets to see what animals met their demise! Learn more fun facts about owls in Ohio. Then, we will venture outside to listen for owl calls.

What is a plumicorn? Come find out!

We will not be hiking long distances. Flashlights will be provided.
