Plant Professions Hike

As if creating oxygen for us wasn’t enough, plants serve other purposes!  Bugs often rely on certain plants for food!  After a brief presentation, we will hike in search of some of these plant providers.

REMINDERS

What to Bring
Bring your own drinking water. Potable water is not available at this location. Depending on weather conditions and the time of year, you may want to bring sunscreen and/or insect repellent.

Pets
Pets are welcome in the park.  They must be under control at all times and on a leash no longer than 6’. For the health and safety of all, pick up and properly dispose of pets’ waste.

Cross Mound Trail
Trail conditions vary based on weather; be prepared with appropriate footwear to hike in muddy or slippery conditions.
