A holiday tree was donated by Saum Family Farm. Each visitor will receive a ticket. At the end of the event, a ticket will be drawn; the winning ticket holder may take home the tree!

Rock Mill Days 2025
The park is open year-round during daylight hours. The mill, though, is only open during “Rock Mil Days” or special events such as this one. The 2024 season has ended but will resume in 2025, May through October, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays, and from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sundays. On the last Sunday of each month, weather permitting, there will be milling demonstrations. Corn is ground the way it was done 200 years ago! You may even be able to help use the bolter to sift the meal and bag it.
The Documentary, “Rock Mill: Saving an Original”
Rock Mill stands at least 90’ above the gorge of Hocking River Falls. In 1905, it closed for business and fell into disrepair. After a decade-long restoration effort ending in 2017, it roared to life and milled grain again for the first time in over 100 years! Come see this amazing piece of history, enjoy the view from Rock Mill Covered Bridge and the beautiful setting!
Want to learn more? “Rock Mill: Saving an Original” is an hour-long documentary that chronicles the restoration of this amazing gristmill. We recommend you watch it before you visit! It will enhance your appreciation of the hard work put in by expert craftsmen and volunteers. Watch it again after your visit! It is available on our website and our YouTube Channel for you to watch at any time.
