About Hike 2
The second of three October hikes. We will explore Cross Mound Trail to take in the glorious sights and scents of the wooded areas of the park and enjoy the sun’s rays on our faces.
Where to Meet
Meet in the picnic shelter. The group will set out promptly; if you wish to be part of the guided hike, please arrive before 1:00 p.m. Note: Pets are welcome.

REMINDERS
What to Bring
Bring your own drinking water. Potable water is not available at this location. Depending on weather conditions and the time of year, you may want to bring sunscreen and/or insect repellent.
Pets
Pets are welcome in the park. They must be under control at all times and on a leash no longer than 6’. For the health and safety of all, pick up and properly dispose of pets’ waste.
Cross Mound Trail
Trail conditions vary based on weather; be prepared with appropriate footwear to hike in muddy or slippery conditions.
