Bring your furry best friends to Mambourg Park and walk with us on a relaxing, guided hike in the woods. It is a great opportunity to socialize your pups (and you)!
The Education Specialist will be doing some interpretation of the native plant and animal life, but it is not necessary to stay in a tight group – everyone may walk at his own pace.
Please understand that if your dog is aggressive toward people or other dogs, you will be asked to walk apart from the group.
What to Expect
Hickory Trail is approximately 1.5 miles long and is considered easy to moderate. The terrain is uneven. Wear comfortable shoes. The trail could be muddy, so select your footwear to match weather conditions.
Where to Meet
Meet in the front parking lot near the kiosk.
What to Bring
We suggest you bring drinking water for you and your dog, especially if it is hot outside. You may also want to have snacks, sunscreen, and/or insect repellent.

Pets
Pets are welcome on Hickory Trail at Mambourg Park. They must always be under control and on a leash no longer than 6’. For the health and safety of all, pick up and properly dispose of pets’ waste. Pets are not permitted on Oak Trail.
