The second part of our fall birding week happens at Smeck! Let’s hike through forest and prairie as we search out our feathery friends.
All skill levels are welcome. These hikes are best suited for ages 8+. A limited supply of binoculars will be available; if possible, bring your own binoculars.
Where to Meet
Meet in the open picnic shelter (beyond the barn and restrooms). The group will set out promptly; if you wish to be part of the guided hike, please arrive before 8:00 a.m. Note: Do not bring pets to this particular program. Read more about pets, below.

REMINDERS
What to Bring
Bring your own drinking water. Potable water is not available at this location. Insect repellent is highly recommended.
Pets
Pets are not allowed inside the buildings but are welcome outside and on the trails at Smeck Park. Pets must be under control at all times and on a leash no longer than 6’. For the health and safety of all, pick up and properly dispose of pets’ waste.
