Fall Foliage Hike
Wahkeena Nature Preserve
2200 Pump Station Rd
Sugar Grove, OH 43155
The deciduous forest is undergoing a significant change at this time of year. Learn more about why trees’ leaves change colors and why they lose their leaves. A Wahkeena Naturalist will share fascinating insights along the trail about the local flora and fauna, and how they adapt to the changing seasons.
Join us for a 90-minute journey, covering approximately one mile of our preserve’s diverse terrain. Please note that due to the uneven terrain, appropriate footwear is required. This hike is suitable for ages 12 and up.
What to Bring
Bring your own drinking water; potable water is not available at this location. We recommend you do not bring strollers or wagons.
