Forest School Adventure Day
Wahkeena Nature Preserve

In this one-day school, we’ve removed the classroom walls and let Nature become our teacher. Join a Wahkeena Naturalist for a day of discovery around the preserve. Who knows what we will find! Focusing on outdoor, investigative learning, the class will be out exploring rain or shine.
Best suited for students ages 8 through 12. Class is from 1:00-3:30 p.m. Parents may choose to drop off children or remain with the group. Each class is limited to 10 students. To allow as many as possible to participate, you will be asked to sign up for only one date. Reservations are required. - Thursday, July 21
- Friday, July 22 *
Thursday, August 4– This date has been filled.Friday, August 12– This date has been filled.
*On July 22, a sign language interpreter will be available. If you have questions about the interpretation of this program, call 740 652-4422.
What to Bring
We suggest you bring sunscreen and insect repellent.
Pets
Just a reminder that pets are never allowed in any nature preserve.
