Skulls, Furs, Fun!
Saturday, December 17, 2022
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Mambourg Park
5531 Cincinnati-Zanesville Rd NE (US-22)
Lancaster, OH 43130
Which is larger – the skull of a fox or a racoon? See and touch different furs and skulls. Our Education Specialist will share tips and tricks that will help you identify them. Then, we will set out to hike one-mile-long Oak Trail to look for signs of mammals such as tracks and scat (poop).
No Pets. We don’t want to temp them to chew the display of skins and skulls – pelts of beaver, skunk, fox and other animals, plus bones/skulls are irresistible to many dogs! Because this program is in Mambourg Nature Center and on Oak Trail, we ask that you do not bring pets to this event. See more about pets, below.
