Hickory Trail at Mambourg Park

Wednesday, July 17, 2024
10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Summer Appreciation Hike: 55+

Mambourg Park
5531 Cincinnati-Zanesville Rd NE (US-22)
Lancaster, OH  43130

Get fresh air, some exercise, and meet new friends or bring your own. Walk at your own pace, forge ahead, lag behind, or stay somewhere in the middle. Stop to enjoy the views or listen to the sounds of nature. There will be no pressure to keep up with a group – just enjoy the day!

This 1.5-mile hike on Hickory Trail is meant to include those age 55 and older, but no, we’re not going to check IDs!

There are a few spots on the trail that could be considered moderate rather than easy to hike; you may want to bring a walking stick. Depending on weather conditions, it could be muddy and slippery. Wear appropriate shoes or boots and outerwear.

When finished, come to the nature center for healthy snack. Bring your own drink.

Where to Meet

We will begin and end today’s hike in the nature center. Please do not bring pets to this particular program. See more about pets, below.
