Could you survive living outside all winter?  What would you eat?  How would you prevent freezing?  Cone on this hike to learn some way animals and plants get what they need during winter!

Where to Meet
This hike is best suited to those ages 8 and older.  Meet at Cruit House, the log-framed house seen upon entering the park.  Reminder: Although pets are not allowed inside the building, htey are welcome to join us for this program.

What to Bring
Bring your own drinking water.  Potable water is not available at this location.

Pets
Pets may not enter the buildings but are welcome outside and on the trails at Smeck Park. They must be under control at all times and on a leash no longer than 6’. For the health and safety of all, pick up and properly dispose of pets’ waste.
