Wildflowers & Ferns Walk
Wahkeena Nature Preserve
2200 Pump Station Rd
Sugar Grove, OH 43155
In the Spring Wildflowers Walk Series (April-May), we observed the everchanging woodland landscape as early blooms came and went. On this final Spring walk, the focus will turn from the fading wildflowers to the many species of native ferns to be found at Wahkeena. Join our naturalist for a walk on the forested trails (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours). Wildflower and fern identification, folklore, and other topics of natural history will be discussed along the way.
What to Bring
