Its History

Taphophiles will appreciate this graveyard! Many of the tombstones are broken but the artistry can easily be seen in their remains. Names of early Fairfield County settlers can be found. One such person is Tunis Peters (1759-1839), a founding member of Turkey Run Church.

Directions from Lancaster: From the corner of N Memorial Dr (US-33) and W Main St (US-22), drive west toward Circleville on Lincoln Av (US-22, Cincinnati-Zanesville Rd SW) approximately 0.4 miles. Turn right onto Cedar Hill Rd (OH-188); drive 12.2 miles. The entrance is on the left.
